How long have you been a photographer?
I have been a photographer for 20 years.

Where are you originally from?
I was born in Santa Monica and Raised in Hacienda Heights.

How did you start?
I took photography in High School and was on the journalism team as the staff photographer.
|
|
Educational Background?
I went to Wilson High School in Hacienda Heights and trained at various photography seminars and studied with some of top photographers while freelancing in the field.

Have you ever received any awards and accolades?
I won first place at the Puente Hills photography competition in the early 1980's
|

What is it you most appreciate about your work?
Being able to capture special moments as heirlooms to be passed on from generation to generation.

What do you find most interesting about people?
The fact that everyone is different and each event is also different or should I say, different situations arise.

What are your goals for the future as a photographer?
Seek more into the digital end as technology progresses.

What is your drive as a photographer?
Being able to capture once in a lifetime moments and bringing out the best in people on film.

What kind of camera and equipment do you use?
Hasselblad medium format camera for portraits and weddings
Cannon 1-N and Cannon D30 (digital) for photo journalistic photography
